Activities

Fujairah Cement Industries (FCI) is a prominent cement manufacturing company based in the Emirate of Fujairah, UAE. Established on December 20, 1979, FCI operates as a Public Joint Stock Company with a paid capital of AED 355,865,320. The plant is situated in Dibba town, Fujairah Emirate. FCI boasts a production capacity of 4 million tons of clinker per annum and 2.4 million tons of cement per annum. The company is a consortium involving the Government of Fujairah, Government of Abu Dhabi, Islamic Development Bank, and shareholders from the UAE and other GCC countries. FCI produces various types of cement, including ordinary Portland cement, sulphate-resisting Portland cement, and moderate sulphate-resisting Portland cement. They also manufacture ready-mixed and dry-mix concrete and mortars. The plant was supplied and erected by M/s. Voest Alpine, Austria, on a turnkey basis. It features a centralized control room for most operations, ensuring high efficiency and quality control. FCI emphasizes stringent quality control techniques and computerized control systems to maintain high standards. They are ISO 9001:2008 certified. The company supports Emiratization, providing job opportunities to local people based on their qualifications and experience. They also conduct various training programs to enhance safety and environmental awareness. FCI is committed to delivering high-quality cement products and services, ensuring value for money, and adhering to international standards.
