Activities

Combined Group Contracting is a public company based in Kuwait City (Kuwait) and was established in September 1965. CGC is listed on the Boursa Kuwait since January 2006. The company operates primarily in the capital goods sector, focusing on construction & engineering in Kuwait, and in many countries of the Gulf region, the Middle East, and Asia. It has 7 subsidiaries operating across Qatar, Kuwait, United Kingdom and Syria. Its construction division is engaged in the construction of industrial and commercial buildings, bridges, and highways; general contracting, mechanical and engineering works. Moreover, it is involved in the manufacture and import of building materials; sand and related materials; asphalt production; trading and packaging of cement and ready-mixes; and owning the transportation intermediaries for the company's activities. The oil sector division is responsible for handling installation, testing, and commissioning of pipelines; isolation cold cutting and removal of existing crude oil line; also, multiple associated civil works, including road crossings, fencing, valve pits, instrumentation, asphalted roadway paving and providing electrical and cathode protection. Its service center division operates two asphalt plants, three ready mix concrete plants, an aggregate division, a garage, vehicles and equipment. Moreover, it is also involved in making investments of excess funds in portfolios managed by specialized companies. The company's subsidiaries include: Combined Group for Trading and Contracting Company, Combined International Real Estate Company, and Combined Group Factories Company.
