Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG is one of the largest and most respected engineering, contracting, and construction companies in the Sultanate of Oman. Founded in 1972 by Dr. Salim Said Al Fannah Al Araimi, Sheikh Mohamed Rashid Al Fannah Al Araimi, and Dr. P. Mohamed Ali, Galfar has grown significantly over the years.

Headquartered in Ghala, Muscat, Galfar offers a wide range of services, including process plant construction, well heads, pipelines, storage tanks, electrical and power distribution, instrumentation and control, telecommunications, and civil and structural works. The company has completed numerous projects across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market, earning a reputation for excellence and innovation.

Galfar employs over 23,000 workers in Oman and operates more than 7,000 different types of plant and equipment. Some of their notable projects include the Boushar-Amirat Road, Duqm Fishery Port, and the Yibal Khuff Project. The company is committed to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability, and has received several awards and certifications for its performance.
