SCIDC's operations are supported by its own quarries in Sharjah, where it mines limestone and siltstone, essential raw materials for cement production. The company also has a dedicated facility for the production of multiwall, glued/pasted valve-type empty paper sacks. SCIDC is a public joint stock company, with its shares listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market. The company was also listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange until its voluntary withdrawal in 2021. Sharjah Cement & Industrial Development Co. has established itself as a significant industrial entity in the UAE, with a diverse product range and a strong market presence.
