Activities

Riyad REIT Fund is a closed-ended, Sharia-compliant real estate investment traded fund. The company operates in accordance with Real Estate Investment Funds Regulations and REIT Regulations issued by the CMA. Established in 2008, and headquartered in Olaya (Riyadh), it is managed by Riyad Capital. The primary investment objective of the company is to provide Unit holders with current income by investing in income producing real estate assets in the country. Having a belief in the importance of managing wealth and planning for upcoming financial needs, the company delivers a wide range of investment products and solutions through a team of experts in assets management, financial and investment planning and corporate investment banking. The company is also involved in acquiring, maintaining, owning, and developing a portfolio of income-producing real estate assets. The company also invests in the hospitality sector of the city of Jeddah, and thus has acquired the Ascot Hotel in Jeddah, which is the first hotel for the Ascot Company in the country.For the long term, it intends to diversify its portfolio across its segments, including showrooms, offices, residences, hospitality and warehouses.The Fund spends in developed real estate and property development projects. It assigns at least 75 percent of its AUM (assets under management) to income-generating assets, and doesn't invest in undeveloped (white) land plots.
