Saudi Arabian Refineries Company (SARCO), also known as Al-Masafi, plays a significant role in the energy sector of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SARCO is at the heart of everything related to refining and energy. Their mission revolves around understanding their clients' goals and contributing to their success. The company's strategy focuses on diversification, value addition, and promoting a sustainable economy. Established in 1960, SARCO operates one of the largest refineries in the Kingdom. This refinery, located in Jubail Industrial City, processes crude oil into various petroleum products for both local consumption and international markets. Since its establishment, the company has committed itself to maximizing the abundant natural resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, such as petroleum and its derivatives, by making optimal use of these resources by investing in projects that benefit from these natural resources in a way that preserves nature and promotes the economic and social development of the region. SARCO is involved in several activities: crude oil extraction, refinery and petrochemical construction, real estate transactions, property management, as well as securities trading. SARCO has made strategic investments in various companies. Some notable ones include: ACWA POWER, Southern Province Cement Company, Saudi Aramco, Saudi Industrial Investment Group, ArabTank Terminals Ltd.,Arabian Sulfonates Co. Ltd. SARCO is wholly owned by Saudi Aramco, the national oil company of Saudi Arabia. This ownership provides a strong foundation for SARCO's operations and growth.
