Eastern Province Cement Company announces the annual financial results for the year ending 31/12/2012

1. Net Profit: SAR (393) million, compared to SAR (364) million for the same period of the previous year, an increase of 8%

2. Earnings per share: SAR (4.57), compared to SAR (4.23) for the same period of the previous year.

3. Gross Profit: SAR (423) million, compared to SAR (419) million for the same period of the previous year, an increase of 0.95%

4. Operating Profit: SAR (379) million, compared to SAR (377) million for the same period of the previous year, an increase of 0.53%

5. Reclassification has been made for some comparative period figures.

6. The increase in the net profit during the current period compared to the same period of the previous year is due to the enhancement of the sharing result of one of the associated company and to the increase of other income.
