Al Mohafaza for Education was initially established as a branch of a sole proprietorship in 2004. In 2022, it underwent a transformation, becoming a closed Saudi joint stock company. Additionally, Al Mohafaza manages and operates educational, sports, and recreational facilities, either owned by the company or rented out to others. Al Mohafaza recently issued a prospectus to offer 1.6 million shares on the Nomu - Parallel Market. This represents 20% of its post-IPO capital (which was 23.88% of pre-IPO capital). The company increased its capital from SAR 67 million (6.7 million ordinary shares) to SAR 80 million (8 million ordinary shares) by issuing 1.3 million new ordinary shares. Existing shareholders also offered 300,000 ordinary shares. The share sale was open to qualified investors from February 28 to March 7, 2024. Al Mohafaza operates private schools in the Hafr Al Batin region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These schools provide education from kindergarten to secondary levels. Additionally, the company manages, operates, and rents out educational, sports, and recreational facilities. Al Mohafaza Company for Education is listed on the Saudi Exchange's Parallel Market (NOMU) since March 2024.
