Aref Co posts KD 10.7 million in net profits for 2010

Aref Energy Holding Company (Aref Co) earned 10.7 million Kuwaiti dinars in net profits for the fiscal year (FY) that elapsed on Dec. 31, compared to KD 7.9 million in losses in 2009.

The company's total equity hit KD 74.9 million in 2019 against KD 64.6 million in 2009, the company said in a release posted on the Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) Web site.

Aref's assets totaled KD 113 million, while its liabilities amounted to KD 29.4 million by the end of the FY that elapsed in December, compared to KD 38.3 million in 2009, according to the online release.

Established in 1996 and registered with the KSE in 2005 with a paid-up capital of KD 75 million, Aref Co has been active in the field of owning shares of Kuwaiti and foreign companies and limited firms.
