Arabian Drilling, Saudi Arabia's largest drilling contractor by fleet size, has signed a contract with a new client in the GCC, marking its entry into another regional market. Operations are expected to begin before the end of the third quarter of 2026.

The contract is expected to support backlog growth, improve future revenue visibility and strengthen the company's long-term earnings profile.

The agreement follows the successful early completion of Arabian Drilling's first international offshore drilling contract and the subsequent redeployment of its jack-up rig to another GCC country, highlighting the company's growing regional offshore capabilities and expansion strategy.

Fahad Albani, Chief Executive Officer of Arabian Drilling, commented: "Securing a new contract in another GCC country after the successful completion of our first international offshore contract ahead of schedule represents an important milestone in Arabian Drilling's growth journey. As we continue to expand our regional presence, we remain focused on delivering sustainable growth, creating long-term value for our shareholders, and supporting the evolving needs of the energy sector across the region."
