United Electronics Company established Extra in Saudi Arabia back in 2003. Their mission is to provide customers with a complete shopping experience for consumer electronics and home appliances. Extra offers an extensive range of products, including: TVs, audio systems, computers, mobile phones, cameras, and home appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, etc., as well as personal care products. Extra also provides after sales services like extended warranties, free home delivery, installation, computer maintenance, and a 24/7 hotline for technical emergencies. With 48 stores across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, plus a couple more in Bahrain and Oman, Extra has become the go-to electronics haven for over 12 million shoppers. They've also bagged some impressive awards: ranked first among Saudi Fast Growth companies for their whopping 340 percent growth from 2004 to 2008, topped the Saudi retail sector category in the Arabian Business Magazine awards, as well as being named one of the top companies for exceptional growth and sustained success. However, Extra isn't just about profits; they're also into giving back to society. Through UEC's training program, they've trained and hired over 250 Saudi youth.
