Al Salam Group Holding is a public company based in Kuwait City (Kuwait) and was established in November 1997. Al Salam is listed on the Boursa Kuwait since November 2005. The company contributes in the establishment of, lending to, and management of Kuwaiti or foreign shareholding or limited liability companies, along with providing guarantees on behalf of these companies. The company actively acquires and runs other companies, through subsidiaries, while financing companies in which it owns 20% or more of the capital. The company is also responsible for acting as guarantor on behalf of these companies; owning industrial equities, such as patents, royalties, industrial trademarks, or any other related rights and franchising them to others, to use them outside or inside Kuwait, besides owning real estate and movable property too. It operates through the Investment, General Trade, and Contracting segments. In addition to this, the company is also involved in general trading and contracting, and takaful insurance business. It has 13 subsidiaries operating across Kuwait, including: British United Company for General trading and Contracting, Aldossor International Co. for Trading and Construction, Atlantic Group for General Trading and Contracting Co., Al Sari National General Trading and Contracting LLC, India Holding, Gulf Petroleum Investment & Stone Energy.
