Batelco by Beyon, a leading provider of innovative telecommunications and digital services in Bahrain, has become the first telecom company in the kingdom to offer Protect+, its new device protection offering with AppleCare Services. Protect+ provides comprehensive coverage and expert support for eligible Apple devices and is available to anyone purchasing an eligible Apple device, provided the service is activated within 24 hours of the device purchase.
Protect+ is available across a range of Apple products, with two-year protection plans immediately available for iPhone and coming soon for iPads, Airpods and Apple Watch while three-year plans will be available for MacBooks. Customers can choose to pay upfront or through instalments, providing greater flexibility when protecting their devices.
Protect+ includes unlimited accidental damage coverage, access to repairs at Apple Stores and authorised service providers worldwide, battery replacement when capacity falls below 80%, and priority access to Apple experts.
The service also includes same-day iPhone screen repair options in many major cities, with no excess fees, hidden costs, depreciation or cap on the value of each claim.
Aseel Mattar, Chief Consumer Officer at Batelco by Beyon, said: "As customers increasingly invest in premium devices, we want to ensure they have the protection and support they need beyond the point of purchase. Protect+ gives customers the confidence of knowing their Apple devices are protected, with access to trusted expertise and support when they need it."
"Being the first telecom company in Bahrain to introduce this offering reflects our focus on enhancing the overall customer experience, delivering greater value, and convenience to our customers," stated Mattar.
The introduction of Protect+ comes ahead of the highly anticipated arrival of the new iPhone Duo at Batelco, further expanding the range of value-added services available to customers purchasing premium devices, she added.
