For the sixth consecutive year, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic) has won recognition across various categories of the Edison Awards for a range of innovative solutions, reflecting the global petrochemical leader's commitment to market-focused innovation.
This year, Sabic won Edison Awards in three categories, including Material Science, Energy and Climate Resiliency, and Clean Water, Food and Agriculture, for five innovative solutions developed by its scientists and innovators.
Sabic operates a network of technology and innovation centres that foster an environment for testing new ideas and has registered and holds more than 10,700 patents and patent applications.
Established in 1987, the Edison Awards annually honour outstanding innovative solutions selected through specialised mechanisms across fields, based on the capacity of these innovations to meet global needs and contribute to solving current and future challenges.
