Gulf Bank has launched a back-to-school and university campaign for the new academic year, combining student activities, financial literacy initiatives and support for children from families in need as students return to in-person learning after an extended period of remote education linked to geopolitical developments. The campaign is designed to support students across educational stages through activities that combine learning, engagement and social support, while reinforcing the bank's broader focus on youth development.

Activities include workshops for coloring and decorating school supplies, social media competitions and prizes aimed at engaging students as they begin the new academic year.

The campaign opened with an event held in collaboration with Fun Tiki at 360 Mall. Children took part in workshops on decorating school supplies, painting, arts and crafts, as well as interactive science shows. neo, the mascot of Gulf Bank's neo account for children, also participated.

Under its long-standing strategic partnership with INJAZ Kuwait, Gulf Bank plans to conduct visits to several schools to promote saving and strengthen students' financial literacy. The visits will also highlight INJAZ programs supported by the bank, including training and entrepreneurship initiatives designed to help prepare students for the labor market and develop leadership skills.

Gulf Bank will also take part in university orientation forums and exhibitions for new students, where it will present banking services and products aimed at young people, including the red account and red plus card. As part of its support for the national "Let's Be Aware" campaign, Gulf Bank will deliver financial awareness sessions for students focused on saving and the risks of financial fraud, with the aim of building financial awareness from an early age.

The bank is also working with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and the Basta initiative to distribute school bags and help cover educational expenses for children from families in need. Gulf Bank will also produce a series of awareness videos to help children prepare for their return to the classroom and support a balanced start to the academic year. The back-to-school and university campaign is part of Gulf Bank's year-round community program, which includes initiatives focused on education, sustainability and social support.

Gulf Bank also supports youth development through training and entrepreneurship initiatives implemented with strategic partners. The bank received the "Best Product for Gen Z" award at the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards 2026 for its youth-focused offering.
