Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) said it has achieved a compliance rate of 99 per cent on the disclosure of its listed companies' audited financial statements for the first half of this year.
This falls within the legal timeframe specified for the disclosure of listed companies' financial results, which is 45 days from the end of the relevant financial period. The results indicate that 100 listed companies traded in the market out of a total of 101 traded public listed companies.
ADX currently has 104 listed companies, three of which have been suspended for more than six months. Out of the 101 traded listed companies, 100 companies have complied with the applicable requirements for the submission of their second-quarter financial statements, in accordance with their respective financial year-ends, ADX said.
Moreover, a comparison of the financial data of listed companies for H1 2025 and H1 2026 indicates a 38 per cent increase in the aggregate profits of listed companies.
Increase in traded volume
The exchange reported a 3.7 increase in its total traded volume, reaching 50.3 billion in the first half of this year. Trading value reached Dh171 billion in that period, with an average daily traded volume of 423 million shares, up 9 per cent year-on-year.
Institutional investors accounted for 78 per cent of total trading value, while net positive inflows reached Dh1.4 billion, up 13.7 per cent from a year earlier. International investors represented 48 per cent of total trading value, while the contribution of UAE nationals rose by six percentage points to 52 per cent.
ADX also onboarded more than 30,000 new investors during the first half, with foreign investors accounting for over 77 per cent of new registrations.
