In 2024, Zain Group reported a consolidated revenue of USD 1.6 billion for the second quarter, marking a 4% increase compared to the previous year. The company's net income also saw a substantial growth, soaring by 55% to reach USD 170 million. This financial success reflects Zain's commitment to innovation and customer service, as evidenced by their early adoption and extensive coverage of 5G services in Kuwait, which reached over 90% of populated areas by the end of 2019. Zain's operations extend beyond Kuwait, with a presence in countries like Bahrain, where it introduced 4.5G LTE services, and Iraq, where it became the largest mobile operator. In Jordan, Zain was the first to introduce mobile services and now offers 4.5G LTE across the kingdom.
The company's growth and success are a testament to its strategic vision and the leadership of key figures such as Bader Nasser Al-Kharafi, the Vice-Chairman and Group CEO since March 2017. Zain's brand value stood at USD 3 billion in 2024, reflecting its strong market position and recognition across the MENA region.
