"Saudi German Health" (SGH), one of the largest healthcare groups in the Middle East and North Africa, made a strong and impactful presence at the Global Health Exhibition 2025, hosted at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center-Malham from 27 to 30 October 2025.
In its distinctive pavilion H2.F10, the group showcased its most significant milestones of this year and its pivotal role in developing the healthcare system in both the Kingdom and the region.
The recent collaboration with the prestigious Mayo Clinic healthcare network was the most prominent aspect of SGH's participation at the exhibition, as SGH is the largest member of the global network in the GCC.
This achievement will enable the group to provide world-class medical expertise to patients within the Kingdom, offering advanced medical consultations without the need to travel abroad. It also connects SGH specialists with Mayo Clinic experts for complex medical cases and supports regional medical knowledge through joint clinical programs, trials, and research.
SGH also celebrated a pioneering milestone in nursing excellence, as three of its hospitals, in Asir, Riyadh, and Jeddah (with distinction), earned the prestigious Magnet designation, the world's highest international recognition for nursing excellence. This remarkable achievement places SGH among the top 10% of hospitals globally and makes SGH Jeddah the first and only hospital outside the United States to receive this distinguished honor.
In terms of digital transformation, the group highlighted its "SGH app" that surpassed 2.5 million downloads, ranking among the most downloaded health applications in the Kingdom. This has contributed to a 40% increase in appointment attendance rates, enhancing the patient experience and facilitating access to medical services within an integrated digital system.
The group reaffirmed its commitment to implementing the Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) model, which focuses on achieving the best clinical outcomes and improving patients' quality of life by providing care centered on actual results and the patient experience throughout all stages of the treatment process.
The group also highlighted its expansion in medical tourism services, which combine exceptional medical expertise with high-end hospitality services, as well as its International Visiting Professors program (IVP), which facilitates the transfer of the latest global medical knowledge to the Kingdom, reinforcing the principle of comprehensive, patient-centered care in accordance with the highest international standards and practices.
In the same context, the group continues to develop its home health care services, enabling patients to receive comprehensive care in the comfort of their own homes, along with personalized medical care tailored to each patient's needs. This approach provides a personalized treatment experience that reflects the essence of the group's promise: "Caring Like Family".
Commenting on the participation, Makarem Sobhi Al-Batterjee, Vice Chairman of Saudi German Health, said: "Our participation in the Exhibition 2025 is not merely a showcase of our services, but rather an embodiment of the group's vision aimed at elevating healthcare standards, building effective partnerships, and reinforcing the Kingdom's status as a global destination for high-quality healthcare."
Al-Batterjee added: "The achievements of the group are clear evidence of our unwavering commitment to innovation, quality, and compassionate humanistic care. These values drive us to continue supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and serving our communities, guided by our group's values, which are part of our slogan (Caring Like Family)".
The SGH pavilion offered visitors a unique opportunity to learn about the group's authentic Saudi identity and its global aspirations, a harmonious blend of heritage, innovation, and partnership that will shape the future of healthcare in the Kingdom and beyond.
