Natural Gas Distribution Company secures Al-Kharj gas network licence

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy has awarded Natural Gas Distribution Company a licence to construct, own and operate a natural gas distribution network in Al-Kharj Industrial City.

The award follows a competitive tender process that included investor prequalification and a comprehensive assessment of bids.

The project supports the Kingdom's Liquid Fuel Displacement Programme by enabling industries to replace liquid fuels with natural gas.

The initiative also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to maximise the economic, environmental and social value of the Kingdom's hydrocarbon resources.
