Alkhorayef seals Saudi sewer networks development contract

Saudi-based Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company has announced that it has secured a contract worth SAR221 million ($59 million) from the National Water Company for sanitary sewer networks in Hafar Al Batin and Al Qaismah governorates.

As per the deal, Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company will undertake the construction of 184 km-long sewer networks with diameters ranging from 200 to 700 mm.

The scope of work includes the construction of manholes and inspection chambers, and the required connections to the existing network, said the company in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.

The entire project work will be completed within a three-year period, it stated.

Financial impact as a result of the purchase order is expected to take place during the first quarter of 2026, it added.
