Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) - announced a net profit of KD 5.3million for the first six months of 2026, compared to KD 10.2 million reported for the corresponding period of 2025. Earnings per share for the first half of the year were 0.3 fils.

The decrease in KIPCO's overall net profit is due to the reduction in operating performance of the energy, banking, hospitality and real estate, and industrial and logistics businesses, reflecting the geopolitical impact on these sectors.

Operating revenue increased 3.49 percent to KD 795.9 million for the first half of the year, from KD 769.1 million reported for the same period in 2025. For the second quarter of 2026 (the three months ended June 30, 2026), KIPCO recorded a net profit of KD 1.8 million. Operating profit for the quarter increased 35.93 percent to KD 52.2 million from KD 38.4million reported for the corresponding period of 2025.

KIPCO's total revenue from operations for the three months came to KD 420.0 million, an increase of 8.95 percent from the KD 385.5 million reported in the second quarter of 2025. Shareholders' equity went up 1.79 percent to KD 656.5 million compared to KD 644.9 million at the end of 2025. The company's total assets stood at KD 14.45 billion at the end of the first half of 2026, compared to KD 13.82 billion at year-end 2025.

Commenting on the results, Sheikha Dana Naser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, KIPCO's Group Chief Executive Officer, said: "The first half of the year was marked by challenging circumstances and continued uncertainty across the region. Against this backdrop, KIPCO remained profitable, reflecting the resilience of our diversified portfolio and the strength of our underlying businesses. More importantly, we have remained focused on executing our plans and advancing the strategic priorities we have set for the Group."

She added: "Our approach continues to be guided by disciplined capital management, operational efficiency and a clear focus on preserving and growing stakeholder value. While we remain mindful of the environment in which we operate, we continue to move forward with our strategy, strengthening our businesses and positioning them to capture opportunities as market conditions evolve."
