Al Maha Petroleum has launched PowerPlus 98, a high-octane petrol (98 RON) designed to meet the needs of modern engines requiring precise combustion and better engine responsiveness. Produced in Oman, PowerPlus 98 strengthens Al Maha's premium fuel portfolio and offers a locally-developed solution for performance-conscious drivers.

With its higher octane level, PowerPlus 98 burns only at the correct pressure and temperature, leading to more complete combustion and reduced engine knocking. This ensures maximum power output with no knocking.

PowerPlus 98 burns more completely than standard fuels, making it a choice that delivers instant accelerator response. It is especially suited for high-compression engines or vehicles where the manufacturer recommends premium octane petrol.

"With PowerPlus 98, we are introducing a fuel that reflects our commitment to performance, care, and innovation," said Hamed Bin Salim Al Maghdari, CEO of Al Maha Petroleum. "This launch is a major milestone for us as we aim to serve customers who seek higher power output, better combustion, and a cleaner driving experience."

Regular use of PowerPlus 98 is recommended to achieve optimal performance, although even occasional use during high-load conditions, such as long-distance travel, steep inclines, or towing, can deliver noticeable benefits.

The fuel can also be safely blended with M91 or M95 petrol in the tank without causing any issues, providing motorists with added flexibility during transitions.

PowerPlus 98 is currently available at the following Al Maha service station locations in Muscat governorate including Al Ghubra North, Al Hail 2, Al Mawalih North 2(Al Mouj), Modern Mabilah, Al Ansab Heights, and SQ University.

The rollout will expand across Oman in the coming months based on customer demand.

As Al Maha enters the high-octane segment, PowerPlus 98 stands as a symbol of technical reliability and practical value, a fuel forumlated in Oman, for Oman. This marks a new chapter in Al Maha's journey to offer innovative, homegrown solutions that meet the expectations of today's motorists.
