Saudi Real Estate Company (Al Akaria) has announced the signing of a framework agreement with Expo 2030 Riyadh Company to execute the early works for the Expo 2030 Riyadh project.

The contract was awarded to one of its key subsidiaries - Saudi Real Estate Infrastructure Company (Binyah).

The scope of work includes demolition, earthworks and miscellaneous logistics activities to support the Project early works and site logistics, said Al Akaria in its filing to the Saudi bourse Tadawul.

As per the deal, the entire work will be implemented by Binyah within a four-year period, it stated.

On the financial impact, Al Akaria said it will be determined based on the assigned works.

Binyah, one of the national companies with expertise in implementing infrastructure development works, is 60% owned by Al Akaria. It specialises in construction of roads, streets, sidewalks as well as building of bridges and tunnels, laying oil and gas pipelines and constructing stations and main lines for water distribution.
